St Angeau is a little village deep in the French countryside with thousands of acres of carefully farmed fields all around.  Sunflowers, wheat and maize in the summer and always a good sprinkling of the beautiful deep brown Limousin cattle that the region is famous for.

Unusually, for such a small village, St Angeau is well served with shops and services. Two petrol stations, a tobacconist, two bakers, a butchers and a chemist shop.  There’s also a doctor, a dentist, a hairdresser and a taxi service.
